Off season update

Hello Everyone,
Well Its the first week of off season, one part of me is excited and the other can wait for it to be over so I can be with my team again. It was a long year but a great one at that( its always great when you win world cup).
It was difficult for us to get prepared and put more blood and sweat into the last NPPL, since we strived so hard to win the NXL.
Although we had a lot on the line still, having to finish up the one on ones from Kansas and if both Dynasty and Impact blew it we had a chance of winning the series if we finished well in SD.
As we all thought that those last few weeks before the event would be off season a lot of guys planned extra trips and clinics.
having those planned it was also difficult for us to set up a proper practice, so needless to say we didn't get much of a quality practice before hand. Honestly we felt like our season was over after World Cup and it was difficult to put our title aside and try achieve another one , but I guess thats something I can still try to accomplish in the future.
I look forward to next year with this team, we have a built an incredible bond and we have already accomplished so much, so these next few years are going to be even better than the last.
We had this weekend off so alex Fraige and I decided to head up to Camp Pendleton and play some walk on.
We went pretty covertly and it was a blast, it was like the good old days when we started.
I think we are going to make that a monthly thing because as much as it has changed for us, that is how we started.
Im off next week to Hungary to meet with the Bullets and discuss next year with them, for you who dont know, we also won the European SPL series and now we will be completing in the CPL. So next year gets a little more exciting across the pond for me as well.
I have a few things planned, a clinic here and there so ill be popping to say hello and give you some stories.

A little update and hello.

Just wanted to let everyone know whats going on in my life.
Just arrived back from a fantasic clinic in Greece, it was one of the most amazing places I have ever been. Amazing food, people and history. We had a practice this weekend against Bad Company at Holly Wood sports this past weekend. We needed to come back to reality after our big win in Orlando and realize that there is still two events including the one on ones we need to win.
This could be one of the biggest years ever for me if we can manage to continue or streak and a few teams drop off we could actually win the NPPL as well.
Its not normal because usually the season is over at this point but there is still plenty of work to be done, and events to win.
So keep posted, and I hope to see a few of you in San Diego.
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and a safe one as well.

November Updte

Congratulations go out to Oliver Lang and Pete "Mr. U" Utschig on an amazing year of paintball.

The Budapest Bullets, along with Ollie and Mr. U completed the European trifecta- 1st place Centurio Eastern European Series, 1st place German X5 Series, and 1st Place Millennium SPL champs. The 1st place SPL series result earned the Budapest Bullets a spot in the elite ranks of the Millennium series CPL division.

In addition to all of that, Ollie and Mr. U along with the L.A. Ironmen added the NXL Los Angeles Open, World Cup champions, and NXL 2007 Season Champs to the long list of accomplishments for the 2007 season. With 1 more event left in the NPPL season, The Ironmen along with Ollie and Mr. U could go on to clinch the season series
in the NPPL as well.

New Website

I’m glad you have taken the time to stop by and check out the new and improved website. The guys at Dye have been working long and hard, countless hours of looking into the electric glow of the computer screen making this site. So I dedicate this new version 3.0 ollielang.com to them, as well as all you people out there in cyber space.

I’m in Idaho at the moment visiting some family; I’ll be back Friday for a practice this weekend in LA against Bad Company, then off to Boston for the third NPPL. This is a great new way of blogging while I’m on the road so I can give you constant updates of what’s going on in the life of a pro paintball player.
